Caddo Lake National Wildlife Refuge is located northeast of Marshall, Texas at Karnack in Harrison County. To get there from Marshall:
Proceed north on Texas 43 for ten (10) miles from its intersection with Loop 390;
Turn right on Spur 449;
Go north on 449 for one (1) mile; road forks - take the right fork;
Cross Highway 134 and KCS Railroad;
The entrance to the Refuge is directly in front of you;
Take a jog to the left and go to a stand of big pines. Enter the parking lot on the left side of the road (all within 1/4 mile of the Guard House Entrance).
